Welcome to Sarm

Sarm is a world that I have created as a setting for tabletop gaming campaigns. My game has evolved with time, starting as small campaigns with only one or two players, to multiple sessions a week with as many as eight players at a time. Sarm is also the major setting of my novel RUNT, which is yet to be published, but I am hopeful that it will happen soon.

RUNT focuses on a young Silverback named Terrabyss. The Silverbacks are a group of wolf-taurs, who live in the Green Wall. Terrabyss’ tribe, the Maulers, have been exiled due to aggressions from the Ozars, a clan of bear-taurs. Terrabyss meets up with Dio and Luna, a father-daughter pair of Eclupse tribe Silverbacks, who are looking for the Maulers to help them free the Green Wall from the Ozars. The promise that they will assist the Maulers in returning to their ancestral homeland allows Dio to become Alpha of the Mauler tribe. In order to secure his position, he sends Terrabyss and Luna to hunt down the mate of the previous Alpha who has run away in order to find supporters against Dio. While doing this, Terrabyss and Luna start to become friendly, spending more time together as they accompany the tribe in preparing for the invasion. Terrabyss is put in charge of a raiding party and Luna oversees the following Hunt, an annual tradition where Mauler teenagers become adults.

Meanwhile, a nebulous force called Lucurael is trying to influence Terrabyss. Lucureal is trying to escape from a different plane of existence and needs a mortal to help him. The Ozars are aware that Dio has found the Maulers, and begin to prepare for the upcoming invasion. One in particular, Forver, raises an army and marches it to Kyron, a commune where Ozars are keeping trapped Eclupse, and where he thinks the Maulers will attack first.

My tabletop and online games follow some of the events of this book, for example one group of characters has met Terrabyss. Others have interacted with Lucurael - much to their detriment. Anything can happen in Sarm, read the Stories and find out more!
